Committee members present at the time the meeting was called to order were Randy Seeley, Leanne Beyer, Darrow Novy, Tom Hotek, Pat Moen, Mark Lankey, and Rick Hanke. Liz Parish was absent Others present included: City Administrator Cory Isaacs, Police Chief Patrick Clark, Administrative Associate Sara McDonald, Nicolette Nauman of the Hillsboro Sentry- Enterprise, La Farge Police Chief Steve Palmer, and Brandon Kiel. Mayor Kubarski asked if this meeting received proper public notice to which City Administrator Isaacs confirmed the meeting did receive proper notice. Motion by Hotek, second by Hanke, to approve November 11, 2025, Committee of a Whole Meeting minutes as presented. Motion carried by voice vote. Registered Public Comment There was no registered public comment. Safety and Welfare Chief Clark gave the Police Chiefs Report stating 233 calls for service within the month of November. Police Chief Clark then introduced Police Chief Palmer to the Committee. Chief Palmer provided a presentation on Nuisance Abatement Ordinances with discussion after. Finance and Personnel Committee Action Items Monthly Bills were reviewed and recommended for Council approval. Motion by Hanke, seconded by Hotek to adjourn. Motion carried by voice vote at 8:29pm.
