We have collected just under $1.5M collected thru Jan 31, 2025; $310,000.00 is postponed and $35,500 delinquent YTD Motion to Approve for Audit by Supervisor Abbott, second Supervisor Olson, passed 3-0 Clerk’s Report Clerk Brown presented the paid bills from January 2025 for Audit. Leon St. has been officially vacated – all documents have been filed and approved; attorney has been paid. Election 2025 Dates February 18, 2025 & April 1, 2025. Deb Abbott has given her resignation as Chief Inspector effective 4/2/2025. Election workers are in place for both upcoming elections. All tax settlements paid. Rural Insurance audit showed an increase of price of $223. They also confirmed that we have coverage for volunteers so training for the clerk-elect and treasurer-elect can begin and has been scheduled. WTA meeting hosted by Town of Leon 2/20/2025 at Leon Community Center – final head count for Leon is needed. Option to include our road projects for Chip Seal with the County RFP – no cost to us. Due Feb. 21st if we are interested. The town declined this option. Septic system has frozen up twice this winter - FYI Motion to Approve for Audit by Supervisor Abbott, second Supervisor Olson, passed 3-0 Patrolman Report Bruce reported minimal plowing needed. He has worked with a contractor to learn to thaw the system. There are 2 culverts frozen solid on Manhattan and Kate; he n/a used an LP brush burner to thaw them and is using the grader to keep ice dams removed. Board of Review Training Discussion and Action Nate Abbott & Jim Olson are willing to go to the training. Carrie will go as an alternate. Kristy will sign-up for virtual session. Justin Trail Conditional Use Permit for Distillery Discussion and Action. Donna was unable to attend. Greg was concerned that they need a liquor license, but they will have a distillery license. Motion to Table by Supervisor Abbott, second Supervisor Olson, passed 3-0.
