A member asked to extend an existing driveway with a culvert – a permit is not needed. A local 4H club asked to use the hall and asked for costs – the board decided to let them use this one time at no cost. Vernon Telecomm has no intention of adding phone service to the area. n/a Treasurer’s Report Treasurer Slayton presented the funds report for review and submission for audit. We have collected just under $1,000,000 YTD. Motion to Approve for Audit by Supervisor Abbott, second Supervisor Olson, passed 3-0 Clerk’s Report Clerk Brown presented the paid bills for December for Audit. Election 2025 Dates February 18, 2025 & April 1, 2025 All tax settlements paid for Jan. WTA meeting hosted by Town of Leon 2/20/2025 at Leon Community Center. Reminder caucus is Jan. 18, 2025 10am at Leon Town Hall – forms available on website for anyone unable to attend caucus. Board of Review training is in March – Nate is willing to go as is Kristy. Motion to Approve for Audit by Supervisor Abbott, second Supervisor Olson, passed 3-0 Patrolman Report Bruce has been cutting trees back for bank reconstruction in the spring on Mallard Ave. Our salt/sand supply is in good shape. St Joseph Equipment put together a proposal for a tractor/mower combo at $216,500.00 – trade in value is $18,000.00 on current equipment. Turn-around time on the equipment is six months. No action was taken on this tonight and we will put it out on bids to present at the annual meeting. n/a Audit & Review of 2024 Financials Discussion and Action All months were audited by the board.
