Town of Angelo Town Board Meeting Minutes 12-13-2022 The Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Treu at 7:00 pm. in the Angelo Town Hall on December 13, 2022. All board members were present with Supervisor Leverich participating by phone. The Town of Angelo Caucus will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 9 a.m. in the Town Hall. All residents are encouraged to attend to nominate people for the town offices. Supervisor Brown was asked to set up an appointment with the lawyer to discuss the use of village powers, property in the zone around the landfill, Tucker’s tenant, and fines. Ordinance Issues: Ian: He is building sheds to hold items that were stored in the trailer. Plans are to remove the trailer himself. Supervisor Brown will do an update on the second of January. Crocker: ServPro plans to begin cleanup on January 4th with law enforcement present. Tucker: A current photo of the property is required . The registered letter was refused. Landfill ordinances are tabled until the January meeting. The spring road tour is planned for early March so work can be scheduled. Disposal Center: No big problems. The compactor is rented so the maintenance is done by Modern Disposal. A controlled burn will be necessary. The permit can obtained on line. The 911 policy will be discussed in January. The clerk was asked to be sure all the costs for the Crocker case were registered. Supervisor Brown moved to approve the bills presented before the board. Second by Supervisor Leverich, motion carried. County Supervisor Zac Zabell discussed issues before the County board. He was asked to consider the effect Fort McCoy has on the town, the cost of fire protection for exempt property. Residents asked about light pollution and the testing of the wells around the pond. Supervisor Brown moved to adjourn at 8:17.
