Town of Angelo Budget Hearing and Special Town Meeting 11-15-2022

TOWN OF ANGELO Budget Hearing November 15, 2022 7:00 p.m. The Town of Angelo met Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the town hall for the purpose of holding the Budget Hearing and Special Town Meeting for 2022. All town officers were present and nine residents. The proposed budget was presented and discussed. Salaries for the board members were discussed and residents felt monies should be added to the budget to raise the salaries. A special meeting is planned for March to make the changes. Changes need to be made to the budget to give the Clerk-Treasurer at total of 16,000 and 12,000 to the board which would include the taxes. Special Town Meeting Moe Amundson moved to approve the levy of $89,875. Second by Jeanne Mielke, motion carried. David Geier suggested that the Clerk sell Angelo bags in large quantities. Perhaps preordering….once a year. It was suggested that “Angelo Township News” be added to the website . Moe Amundson moved to adjourn at 7:58. Second by Jeanne Mielke.
