Boar d Meeting- Tuesday, FEBRUARY 10 , 20 2 6 7:00PM Norwalk Village Board- 208 S Church St Attendance: Board Members : LHelgren ; KVian ; JAmberson ; GDecker ; SKaris ; NAlcantar , Director of Public Works: _ HVian Chief of Police; County Line newspaper: SParker Others in attendance : Mark Davy of Davy Engineering Board Meeting was called to o rder by Pres LH at 7: 0 0 pm. Meeting was properly noticed and agenda posted. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Public comments : Easter Egg Hunt – April 5 th , 2026 – looking for donations of candy for eggs. John Hansen -Ballfield – looking for donation for special lime will be on March board meeting. Motion by SKaris second by JAmberson to approve January 13 , 202 6 board meeting minutes. MC Streets, Sidewalks, Etc.: . Discuss/Approve Contractor bid for the N Church & West Street project. Motion by LHelgren seconded by SKaris to approve contract Bid to BKC Construction in the amount of $955,163.75 for the N Church and West Street Project. Roll call Vote LH, KV, JA, GD, SK, NA all yah. MC Department of Public Works : Sewer operations – Water operations – this summer put new valve in the 600 Block of Main St. Training/schooling – March 11, 2026 training/meeting in Tomah. March 12, 2026 JGenske testing Maintenance Report – Quotes for Dump trailer . Look at Quotes for new lawn mower. Revisit in March at meeting. Motion by SKaris second by KVian to have Sparta Diesel fix Truck V-13 2011 Ford with quote of $4000.00 . MC Finance: Payment of Bills Motion by KVian second by SKaris to pay bills. MC Motion by LHelgren second by KVian to approve the closure of the following: Court, Tax, Water and Sewer checking accounts. Effective as of February 11, 2026 all outstanding balances will be transferred to General checking account . MC Personnel: Discuss setting up personnel committee meeting- for part-time applicants interview . Find available time for all to have an interview with applicants. Have Theresa try and set it up. Library : next meeting, May 4 , 202 6 6 PM Building Permits & Licenses: Motion by GDecker seconded by SKaris to approve Amber Swanson Operator ’s License at 71 Express with all proper paperwork and fees paid. MC Cemetery, Parks & Recreation: Municipal Court: Public Safety: Police Report – Ad Hoc /Emergency Management : Next board meeting on Tuesday, MARCH 10 , 202 6 7:00PM at Village hall meeting room – 208 S Church St .
