Planning Commission Meeting Minutes from 3/25/25Meeting Attendees: Wayne, Kathy, Lori, Fred, Travis, Dale and Prescott Meeting called to order 6:18pmDiscussion:Discussion about sending updates to Ken. Lori and Fred will work in tandem to review the old version and the new version for inconsistencies.After reviewing older minutes Lori pointed out two that didn’t have her in attendance. Those were 6/25/24 and 7/9/24. Both were amended by TravisAccess to the building was discussed and the possibility of Prescott being provided a key.New Town Board will need to be updated after the election as to where the committee is currently at in the process. Currently working on drafts sent from Ken on 3/18/25Economic Development goalSecond paragraph removed Reviewed the second paragraph Ken provided and agreed on second paragraph with a planHousing GoalCorrected a grammar issue on the last sentence. Otherwise this looked goodLand Use GoalThe last sentence needed updated to the softer language.We need to utilize the language we adopted back on 1-7-25The verbiage we need is in the meeting minutes from JanuaryCommunity EngagementUtilizing the comprehensive plan as a tool to get the community engaged Prescott to have Ken add some verbiage around engagement and how the community should help own the process.MapsFred is going to call the county to ask about amendments on the mapsLooking to gain an understanding of how they became amendments overallDOT Map is the map we would like to see utilized. Not sure of the sourceWould like to see future state maps or potential maps as all of the current maps are as it states. Maps are missing gas lines, transmission lines and landfills. Maps all need updated to more understandable forms oIe. Roads missing, DNR Land not identified, some missing Highway roads. GeneralPage 35 is blank and the group is not sure why-Prescott to add in notes back to KenRecycling and Libraries need to be updated to include HammondPrescott will type up changes and send them out to the group for review for us to add or make changes. He will then send the combined back to Ken for the update.
