Public Notice Adopting Resolution 2026-04, Amending the Town Fee Schedule for Certain Construction Projects

TOWN OF MARTELL RESOLUTION 2026-04 AMENDING THE TOWN FEE SCHEDULE FOR CERTAIN CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Martell, Pierce County, Wisconsin, has adopted Ordinance 2025-07, Building Inspection and Permits; and WHEREAS, Ordinance 2025-07 provides that Town Fees for Building Permits shall be established by resolution of the Town Board; and WHEREAS, the Town Board has determined that the current Town Fees Schedule should be amended to better reflect the administrative costs associated with reviewing and issuing permits for certain residential construction projects. THEREFORE, the Town Board of the Town of Martell, Pierce County, Wisconsin, by a majority vote on this . ~ day of S«f-\', 2026, hereby resolves to amend the Town Fees for Building Permits Schedule as follows: Town Fees for Building Permits Project Town Building Permit Fee Residential-new, decks, alterations, and additions w/a project value of $SK to $250K $250.00 Residential-new, decks, alterations, and additions w/a project value of over $250K $500.00 Pools, solar arrays, non-commercial outbuildings over $SK $100.00 Commercial-including alterations, outbuildings, new additions 1% of value of project Starting w/out permit Permit fee doubled All applicable Building Inspection & Permit fees as established in the Building Reference Contract Inspector's contract The Building Permit Fee Schedule established by the Town Board under this resolution may be amended from time to time as the Board deems necessary, with a copy of the updated schedule maintained on file with the Town Clerk. Effective Date and Publication • This resolution is effective upon proper posting or publication. • The Town Clerk shall properly post or publish this resolution as required by law under Wis.
