Special Budget Meeting — Minutes

Town of River Falls Special Budget Meeting January 22, 2026 Elected officials and staff present: Terry Kusilek, Chair; Mary Foster, Siri Smith, Joe Mahoney, Brad Mogen Supervisors; Rita Kozak, Treasurer; Sarah Meyer, Clerk; Don Rodewald, Zoning Administrator The meeting was called to order by Chair Terry Kusilek at 10:01am. Sarah reviewed the expenses and revenues for the entire year of 2025. There were $1,550,550 worth of expenses and $1,653.683 worth of revenues. This gives a surplus of $103,133. Mary moved to move $40,000 out of the surplus into the designated fund for revaluation. Siri seconded. M.C. Mary made a motion to direct the Facilities Committee to start developing a Capital Improvement Plan to make a recommendation to the Board. Joe seconded. M.C. Joe moved and Siri seconded to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 11:47am.
