VILLAGE OF ELLSWORTH COUNCIL MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING BANKS TOWNSHIP HALL March 18, 2026 Present: S. Sowers, M. Drenth, Al Drenth, L. Spearing, S. Dhillon, Don Ruis, M. Potter, M. Bennett, and J. Rasmussen Others: Tina Sundelius, Leslie Meyers. PUBLIC INPUT:  None DISCUSSION: a. Leslie Meyers attended via zoom to answer questions regarding a $60,000 grant she intends to submit on behalf of the village to conduct preliminary engineering work on the Bridge Street culvert. The work on the culvert is part of a larger project involving the upper chain of lakes which spans four counties. b. A committee was formed to create a framework of what the village will expect from a new water/DPW/Street admin. Consisting of the HR team J. Rasmussen & S. Dhillon and D. Ruis & L. Spearing. ACTION ITEMS: 1. MOTION by S. Sowers/seconded by S. Dhillon to pass the resolution. CARRIED 7-0. ADJOURN: MOTION by M. Bennett/seconded by L. Spearing to adjourn at 7:10p.m.CARRIED 7-0.
