2026 07 24 special meeting approved

Special Board of Supervisors Meeting July 24, 2026 at Noon Mercer Town Hall 1.0 Mike called the meeting to order at Noon 2.0 Pledge of allegiance 3.0 The Clerk acknowledged that the meeting was properly posted 4.0 Present were Supervisors Lutgen, Lundquist, Boes, Chairman Lambert, Road Foreman Saarnio and Clerk Hohner. Absent was Supervisor Towne, Treasurer Bettin and Attorney Schellgell. 5.0 Discussion possible action: 5.1 Boes made a motion to sign the only received bid for MT58-34H asphalt Area #1 at 5761N Hwy 51 from Pitlick and Wick, seconded by Lundquist. Carried 5.2 Boes made a motion to sign the only received bid for 845 feet by 30 feet wide type LT58-28S hotmix asphalt 2.5” with room tax money and removing the cost of pulverizing, seconded by Lutgen. Carried 3-1 with Lundquist voting no. 5.3 Lundquist made a motion to put bids out for siding and insulation for the garage shop, seconded by Boes. Carried 5.4 Lundqist made a motion to approve operator licenses for Anne Murrin, Chance Jacobs and Schaffer, seconded by Lutgen. Carried 5.5 Lundquist made a motion to approve picnic licenses for Mercer FD Stake Feed August 22 at the Community Center, VFW Community Day on August 23 at the VFW, Mercer Chamber Softball Tournament August 8 at the baseball field and Park Board Loonie Bike Ride on August 1 at the Park, seconded by Boes.
