Questions were answered regarding how costs were lower in 2025 vs. previous years and the likelihood of lower costs again in 2026. Bucknell explained it was partly due to worker management of their cases and partly due to the nature of the cases that presented themselves in 2025. We do our best to keep costs down but there’s no guarantee about what types of cases we’re going to get, and what will be available for placement locations. 11. Discussion/Action Contracts – None at this time. 12. Overview of Adult Protective Services (APS) – Chanel Levra, APS Social Worker gave an overview of Adult Protective Services cases. Director Update – Bucknell asked Becky Rein, Program Manager to provide a Transportation reporting update. a. Transportation - Rein explained that - $6,275 was identified for the trust fund for the 2026 Iron County Transportation application. An employee from Wisconsin DOT called her and said we can’t do that. They said we must fully allocate the funds to projects and what’s left over at the end of the year can get rolled into the trust fund. Rein moved the $6,275 into the Volunteer Driver Program project. These funds will not be spent and will be rolled into the trust fund at the end of the year. Bucknell then advised that Pat at BART provided reports for the first two months of 2026. No questions. b. Agency Caseload Sizes – Bucknell reported that all workers wear multiple hats, so their caseload does not define their workload. No questions were asked. 16.
