Town of Dodgeville Joint Plan Commission Meeting/Hearing with Iowa County Planning & Zoning Thursday, April 24th, 2025 The Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission met on Thursday, April 24th at 6:00 P.M. Planning Commission Chairman Krista Dolan called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. Plan Commission Committee members in attendance were Krista Dolan, Peter Vanderloo, John Dunbar, Julie Dolan and Mary Wilson. Paul Lawinger arrived at 6:07 p.m. Iowa County Planning & Zoning Committee: Curt Peterson, Tim Lease, Ingmar Nelson, Don Lexi and David Gollon. Others in attendance: Sara Olson, Ryan Dolan, Larry Nelson, Donald Ley, Daniel Bellich, Catherine Bellich and Scott Godfrey. Planning Commission member Krista Dolan verified that proper notice of the public hearing was posted on March 17th, 2025 in accordance with WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Pleasant Ridge Store, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. Peter Vanderloo made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda. Julie Dolan seconded the motion. Motion carried. Public input on the consideration of the following: a) Town of Dodgeville Comprehensive Plan: • Amendment of Section H Land Use Element to add additional residential density exemptions b) Iowa County Comprehensive Plan: • Amendment of Section H. Land Use Element to be consistent with the Town of Dodgeville Comprehensive Plan revisions Director Scott Godfrey overviewed the proposed revisions. Town Planning Commission Chair Krista Dolan provided additional information and clarification in regards to the amendment. The Planning Commission received questions from the public as well as a concern in regards to the potential driveway length. John Dunbar made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2025-145: A Resolution to approve an Amendment to the Town of Dodgeville Comprehensive Plan and to forward to the Town Board for approval. Julie Dolan seconded the motion. Motion carried. Mary Wilson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:26 p.m. Julie Dolan seconded the motion. Motion carried.
