Town of Dodgeville Annual Town Meeting Minutes Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 5:00 p.m. 1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Town Supervisors in attendance were; Pam Johnson-Loy, David Pope, Peter Vanderloo and Kyle Levetzow. Also in attendance was Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson, Kerry Everson, James Wakup, Carl Thoreson, Kelly Ley, Donald Ley, Krista Ley, Jason Rundhaug, Kevin Zajicek and Randy Beerkircher. 2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, Kyle Levetzow made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor Pam Johnson-Loy. Motion carried. 3) Approval of Annual Meeting Minutes from April 18th, 2023. Pam Johnson-Loy made a motion to accept the April 18th, 2023 meeting minutes as submitted. David Pope seconded the motion. Motion carried. 4) Review of 2023 Annual Report & Audit. The Town Board reviewed the presented 2023 Annual Report indicating that the Town had a net loss of $154,097.27. The Town had budgeted to spend approximately $213,202.49 of the fund balance in 2023. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson indicated that the 2023 Audit Report was not completed at this time and would be e-mailed to the Town Board to discuss at a later meeting. 5) Review of 2023 Accomplishments & Highlights. The Town Board discussed several accomplishments and highlights for 2023 including the following: 1. The completion of the Military Ridge Road Project 2. Trading-in and Purchasing of a New Holland T6050 Mower Tractor 3. Crackfilling on Berg, Veterans Pass, Soldiers Court, Park Ridge, Savannah Terrace, Brue and Survey Road 4. Overlays on Korback, Wiest, N. Clay Hill and Brue Road 5. Sealcoating of Evans Quarry, McGraw, Lawinger, portions of Jacobson, a portion of Leffler and Section Line Road (from County Y to the Town Line) 6) Set 2024 Annual Meeting Date. Peter Vanderloo made a motion to set the 2024 Annual Meeting date for the third Tuesday in April of 2025 starting at 5:00 p.m. David Pope seconded the motion. Motion carried. 7) Other matter brought before the Annual Meeting. None. 8) Adjournment. Kyle Levetzow made a motion to adjourn at 5:10 p.m. Pam Johnson-Loy seconded the motion. Motion carried.
