Special Board Meeting — Minutes

MINUTES JUNE 19, 2024 The Special Board Meeting of the Village Board was called to order by Village President, Robert Spurley on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Village Hall. Roll Call: John Trace, Larry Dale Schultz, Stephen Troester, Jason Cartwright, Linda Sudmeier, Denny Rickard, Robert Spurley. Absent: None Employees: Sue Lindner Citizens: None Old Business: A) Jason Cartwright made a motion and seconded by Denny Rickard to approve the 2024 Village Committees. Motion passed 7-0. New Business: A) John Trace made a motion and seconded by Stephen Troester to acquire a loan through Farmers Savings Bank to be paid in 4 annual payments at the rate of 4.25% interest for the new F550 truck. Roll call vote: John Trace-aye, Larry Dale Schultz-aye, Stephen Troester-aye, Jason Cartwright-aye, Linda Sudmeier-aye, Denny Rickard-aye, Robert Spurley-aye. Motion passed 7-0. B) John Trace made a motion and seconded by Jason Cartwright to approve the frolic committee to pay for and install new bleachers at the park. Motion passed 7-0. C) Jason Cartwright made a motion and seconded by Linda Sudmeier to approve the Class “B” picnic license for the 1st responders/frolic committee for Linden Frolic Days - 7/24/2024-7/28/2024. Motion passed 7-0. D) John Trace made a motion and seconded by Larry Dale Schultz to approve the paying of WI DNR bill – 2024 Water Use Fees. Motion passed 7-0.
