STAFF REPORTS:
Sewer/Water/Public Works
Sewer report: Everything is running well. Last Friday March 8th Mike started doing rounds and
Randy is very confident Mike will do well while he’s gone on vacation.
Water: Randy is busy doing 3 reports that have previously been done by Kevin for many years.
Mike is registered for water training in April when Randy gets back from vacation. Lead
inspections slowly trickling in. Water had to be shut off at a mobile home that is habitually late
now that the temps allow to do so without causing freezing.
Streets: New mower paid for and will pick up when the old mower cleaned up and put on auction
to sell. Updated mapping down by Jake Johnson’s is done.
Police
Many dogs have been running in the village and unregistered. Next month’s agenda to include
law updates (ordinances). Ordinances are updated on our website when there is a new update. As
of March 1st, over $16,000.00 in unpaid tickets. Working on speed trailer to get it up and
running, it needs a little paint. Buildings in the Village in bad repair need to be addressed.
Worked traffic patrol on Hwy 151 and it’s paid through wage in fringe and not the Village.
Request needed for help with Dells Automation and Badger games. Village car will not be used
for these events, they will carpool with Mineral Point, this is also paid through Wage in Fringe
not the Village. Spring Cleanup in April. Alan’s car phone number is 608-623-2264 if you need
to contact him on the road. Talked about Dodgeville Street grant. Bob investigated but there isn’t
anything the village would be eligible for. Talked about growth for our Village.
