PUBLIC NOTICE OF ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE OF LINDEN, PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the adjourned Regular Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Linden, Iowa County, Wisconsin, to be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 6:30 pm located in the Village of Linden. The agenda for said meeting WI State Stat 19.85 is as follows: 1) Call Regular meeting to order. a) Roll call b) Certification of meeting notice c) Citizens-Wis. Stat. Sec 19.83 (2) and Sec. 19.84 (2)- Five (5) minute limit except by consent of village board. No action will be taken on any item that is not specifically listed on the agenda. 2) Approval of September 2023 Regular Board minutes 3) Approval of September 2023 treasurer’s reports Staff Reports- Sewer, Water and Public Works- Clerk- President- Police- New Business A. Appointment of new board member – discussion & approval. B. Consideration and approval of picnic license for Linden American Legion on November 12th. C. Discussion and Approval of Iowa County Humane Society Contract for 2024. D. Discussion and Approval of Garbage & Recycling 2024 rate increase. E. Discussion and Approval of December Board Meeting date change. F. Discussion and Approval of operator license for Rejona Rickard. G. Discussion of Personnel Committees recommendation for Village of Linden Employees 2024 Wages. 1) Motion to go to closed session. Consideration of and action on adjourning to closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. sec 19.85(1)©, which permits convening in closed session to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, for the purpose of discussing Village Employees 2024 wages. 2) Motion to go to open session. 3) Discussion and Approval of Village of Linden Employees 2024 Wages.
