MINUTES March 8, 2023 The Regular Board Meeting of the Village Board was called to order by Village President, Robert Spurley on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the Village Hall. Roll Call: Robert Spurley, Denny Rickard, Jason Cartwright, Sarah Brindley, Jake Johnson, Jim Wardell Absent: John Trace Employees: Sue Lindner, Randy Kitelinger Citizens: Linda Sudmeier Motion by Sarah Brindley and seconded by Jake Johnson to approve the February, 2023 regular board minutes. Motion carried 6-0. Motion by Jason Cartwright and seconded by Denny Rickard to approve the February 2023, treasurer’s reports. Motion carried 6-0. Citizens: STAFF REPORTS: Sewer/Water/Public Works Randy Kitelinger reported the sewer plant numbers are good. The wet test was completed and it passed. Randy will be attending a conference in Lacrosse April 1- 4th for continuing training. Highway 39 construction will start in March. The pre-con meeting for the construction is 3/14/2023. Randy Kitelinger spoke about the limestone building at the park, saying that they keep a lot of supplies in the building that they need for the park. Clerk Sue Lindner reported that Bug Tussel Wireless will be laying fiber optic conduit within the right of way in the village of Linden. There is no set date yet. President Bob Spurley reported that the village needs to look at replacing the Brigadier truck. New Business: A) Motion by Jason Cartwright and seconded by Sara Brindley to approve the recommendation of the planning commission to allow Larry D & Amanda Schultz to build a home on their new land in the village limits. Motion carried 6-0. B) The board decided to table until the next meeting the payment schedule to Mineral Point EMS. Motion by Jim Wardell and seconded by Jason Cartwright to approve the March 2023 bill list. Motion carried 6-0.
