A petition for annexation has been filed by the builder. Belleville has already annexed a couple hundred acres from Montrose. Supervisor report: Ted – president of EMS district, rewriting the contract due to all employees being paid now. Snowplow oil line blew out on one of the plows. Kent – senior kitchen construction underway. Pouring concrete tomorrow, some things are going to be late delivery – back order. Ted asks if preparing meals are cheaper if the senior center makes it rather than contracting out. They have about twenty- seven meals per day. Bruce said that the kitchen is a backup plan because at least three times meals have not been delivered by the caterer. They will still use a caterer. The kitchen will be used for veteran’s meals, pie sale cleanup, etc. Citizen Input: None. Committee Reports: Mark – park committee meeting on Tuesday March 4. Good turnout. Committee made a motion to allow ATV/UTV on hard surfaces in the park – parking lot and roadway. Diane said that Akaylah was going to investigate premade signs. Motion to replace two dead crab apple trees, Ricky and Bruce will purchase new trees. Ted thinks the third one also needs replacement. Kent cleaned the vault toilet, and the door is locked until we tell Mike Vorpahl to program the lock to auto open and close (April 6 when the Boy Scouts will be cleaning the park). Unfinished: None. New Business: • Exeter Park Dog Policy – No dogs have been the policy since the park opened. Rick – no other park in area bans dogs, more usage if patrons can bring in dogs. Diane – it was unanimous to allow with leashed at all times and clean up after. Mark – still wants No Dogs in the park. No one to police the park. Diane – who patrols Belleville Parks? Ted – the police patrol the parks. We wanted to be good neighbors to the three residences that surround the park.
