Two bids were received, which ranged in price from $62,150.00 to $78,413.00. Payne & Dolan, Inc. was the low bidder. Our pre-bid estimate for this work was $59,600.00. The bid submitted by Payne & Dolan, Inc. meets all requirements of the bidding documents and is considered responsive. Accordingly, we recommend the Town Board accept their bid and award them the contract. A tabulation of all bids received is attached for your review. Following the award, please sign the attached Notice of Award and return via email. We will then forward the contracts onto the Contractor for execution. Deliver with the executed Contract Documents the Contract security [Bonds] as specified in the Instructions to Bidders (Article 20), General Conditions (Paragraph 5.01), and Supplementary Conditions (Paragraph SC-5.01). 3. Other conditions precedent: Insurance Certificates as indicated by the General Conditions (Paragraph 5.03) Fail ure to comply with these conditions within the time specified will entitle Owner to consider you in default, annul this Notice of Award, and declare your Bid security forfeited.
