Special Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of New Glarus SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING MONDAY , FEBUARY 2ND, 2026 MINUTES Board Members Attending: Chris Narveson (Chair), Matt Streiff, Mark Pernitz, and Dan Gartzke. Troy Pauli attended by phone. Also Attending – Clerk Treasurer Amber George No Public Attendance Held at Chalet Landhaus Conference Room 801 WI Hwy 69, New Glarus WI 53574 1. Chris Narveson called the Town Board Meeting to order at 04:46PM 2. Proof of Posting - Clerk Treaurer Amber George attested to proper proof of posting (January 29th, 2026) and publication (January 29th, 2026). 3. Chris Narveson explained the original financing contract with Cleary Building Corporation and what payment was due to continue construction for the Town Garage. 4. A motion was made by Troy Pauli to approve a payment of $300,429.00 to Cleary Building Corporation for the continued construction of the Town Garage. The motion was seconded by Dan Gartzke. Motion approved by unanimous voice vote. 5. Chris Narveson let the board know that unfortunately he is unable to attend the board of review training on February 6th, 2026. There is a virtual session for board members to attend at a later date. 6. A motion was made by Matt Streiff to adjourn the meeting at 04:57PM. The motion was seconded by Dan Gartzke.
