Special Village Board Meeting Minutes March 16, 2026 On March 16, 2026, President Mike Brusberg called the Special Village Board meeting of the Village of Brooklyn to order at 5:30 p.m. Trustees present were David Berland, Mike Gehrmann, Christian Allen, Jacob Bachim, and Todd Klahn. Trustee Dan Olson was absent. Also present was Clerk-Treasurer Linda Kuhlman. Berland made a motion at 5:30 p.m. to convene into closed session. Klahn seconded Ayes – Klahn, Allen, Berland, Brusberg, Gehrmann, Bachim. Noes – none. Motion carried. Bachim left at 5:37 p.m. Berland made a motion at 6:17 p.m. to reconvene into open session. Klahn seconded. Ayes -- Klahn, Allen, Berland, Brusberg, Gehrmann. Noes – none. Motion carried. Berland made a motion to accept the changes made to the developer agreement in closed session. Klahn seconded. Motion carried. Berland made a motion to allow the village president to serve as emissary to negotiate with the developer as long as it’s reviewed by the village attorney. Klahn seconded. Motion carried. Berland made a motion that all communications that go out about this sale to developer and lawyers must pass through the village president. Klahn seconded.
