PUBLIC SAFETY AND HEALTH COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
September 3rd, 2026
1. Call to Order:
The Public Safety Committee meeting was called to order by Alderperson Cummings at
6:00PM
2. Roll Call:
Committee members present – Alderperson Dorn, Cummings, Chief Warner
3. Approval of Public Safety Committee Minutes of June 4th, 2026. Motion by Dorn, to
approve Prior minutes of July 2nd, 2026, second by Alderperson Cummings, motion
carried.
4. Public Comment: None:
5. New Business:
a.) Special Event Permit Application: Waterloo School District Homecoming Parade.
Discussion, Alderperson Dorn Motioned to Approve, Alderperson Cumings Seconded
– Motioned Carried
6. Blight Report: Chief Warner updated and discussed blight report with alderpersons
7. Future Agenda Items, Communications, and announcements: Next meeting October
1st, 2026 at 6:00 pm. Alderperson Cumming wants Food and Beverage cart ordinance put
onto next agenda meeting for discussion. Referred to next meeting October 1st, 2026
9. Adjourn: Motion to Adjourn by Dorn motion, Seconded by Cumings motion
carried at 6:07 pm
