For additional information or to request such services please contact the clerk’s office at the above location. 136 North Monroe Street Waterloo, Wisconsin 53594-1198 Phone (920) 478-3025 Fax (920) 478-2021 ____________________________________________________________________________________ RESOLUTION #2026-43 Authorizing to act on behalf of the City of Waterloo The Common Council of the City of Waterloo, Wisconsin does hereby ordain as follows: WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo utilizes municipal credit card accounts to facilitate efficient financial operations, procurement of necessary goods and services, and authorized travel expenses for official City business; and WHEREAS, financial institutions require explicit authorization from the governing body of the City of Waterloo to designate specific municipal officials who possess the legal authority to open, manage, maintain, and execute transactions on such credit card accounts; and WHEREAS, the positions of Mayor, Treasurer, and City Clerk are executive administrative officers responsible for the oversight of City operations and financial management, making them the appropriate individuals to serve as authorized agents for the City's financial accounts; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Waterloo, Wisconsin, as follows: 1. Authorization of Individuals : The individuals holding the offices of Mayor, Treasurer, and City Clerk are hereby designated and approved as the official Authorized Individuals on behalf of the City of Waterloo for all municipal credit card accounts. 2. Scope of Authority: The Authorized Individuals are granted full power and authority to act on behalf of the City of Waterloo to open new credit card accounts, modify existing accounts, request or cancel cards for designated City employees, establish credit limits within approved budgetary guidelines, and execute all necessary financial agreements with providing banking institutions. 3. Compliance and Oversight: All actions taken by the Authorized Individuals regarding City credit cards shall comply strictly with established municipal purchasing policies, state statutes, and subject to regular financial auditing procedures. 4. Effective Date: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption by the Common Council.
