Scott got a copy of the Emergency Action plan that was previously done . The cost is $4500. Halbrucker can get it out of his overall budget, he might be over budget in dam expenses but under in some other areas. Uriah Monday who was with MSA when the dam project took place now works for the DNR, wants to keep it high risk says Halbrucker. Scott will get it in writing from Uriah that he will not change the rating of the dam and why . Wallace/Tucker motion to approve updating the emergency action plan with a cost of $4500. Public Safety Director Blount want s ideas and thoughts from the Board. Our oldest squad is 7 years old and we usually don’t go this long without replacement. There was a department who Blount though t might have a used squad they would be getting rid of but that fell through. A c heaper option is to go with an explorer vs. a truck. The Fire Dept is interested in selling their current “brush truck” which is jointly owned with the town. which could sell for almost $20,000. $60,000 range for an SUV. No prisoner cage in that new vehicle They would take our old truck if we decide not to sell it, but Blount says we would get a decent price by selling it. Blount recommends holding off on a cage for the new vehicle. Gorsegner/Ball motion to give Blount the go ahead to start looking for a 2027 replacement vehicle to what is available, whether new or used, a lease and what the trade in will be and bring the information back to the Board. All ayes-motion carried. 8. Wallace/Smith motion to change the first village board meeting of November from the 2nd to the 5th of November. All ayes-motion carried.
