AGENDA Village of Palmyra REGULAR VILLAGE BOARD MEETING Monday August 3, 2026 100 W. Taft St. Village Hall 6:00 P.M. Call to Order – 6:00 p.m. Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Communications: Monthly Reports: Typed Reports submitted. Public Works, Public Safety, Recreation Dept., Library, and Clerk/Treasurer, Building Permit report, March report submitted. (These reports are from Staff to Board members. No item in the reports shall be discussed or acted on by Board members unless it is specifically noted on the agenda that discussion may occur and/or action may be taken on that item. If the Board wishes to discuss an item in the reports, the Board will direct that item to be placed on the next Board agenda.) Public Forum: Citizen’s statements should be limited to three (3) minutes per subject. Although the public may speak on any item that is not included on this agenda as a ‘Public Hearing or Forum’, the Board may not respond or discuss the issue brought forward at this time. In accordance with open meeting laws, the council must notice an item on the agenda to allow discussion on that matter. Your comments will be considered and may be placed on a future agenda for further discussion. New Business: Discussion and Possible Action on the Following Items 1. Proposal for Health Insurance for Village employees presented by R & R Insurance. 2. Kathy Weiss and Blane Poulson will give an update on the JCEDC and Thrive meetings she has been attending. 3. Update from Virtus on the Westfield Development 4. Meeting minutes from Ju ly 20th, 2026 Regular Village Board meeting, July 27th, 2026 Public Safety Committee meeting and July 29th, 2026 Personnel Committee meeting. 5. Update on sale of old ambulance. 6. Painting quote for public safety building. 7. Financial Statements, bank statements, cash account balances for May and June 2026 8. Set a meeting date to follow up on the energy audit from Upper 90. 9. Force main agreement with Blue Spring Lake Management District. 10. Update from MSA on the Westfield Development 11.
