Palmyra Police & Fire Commission Minutes Monday, February 16th, 2026 Palmyra Village Hall 6:00 P.M. The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairman Dooley. Roll call: Stefanczyk, Bealhen, Dooley, Simmons – All Present Guests – Palmyra Village Board Business: Discuss Police and Fire, & EMS personnel issues and candidates in a combined meeting with the Palmyra Village Board. Motion by Dooley second by Simmons to convene into closed session at 6:10PM with staff, pursuant to §19.85(1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Specifically updates on Public Safety Department personnel matters. Roll call – Bealhen, Stefanczyk, Simmons & Dooley all ayes, motion carried. Motion by Bealhen - second by Simmons to reconvene to open session at 6:32 PM Roll call – Bealhen, Stefanczyk, Simmons & Dooley all ayes, motion carried. Outcome of business conducted in closed session: No business discussed. Motion by Dooley - second by Simmons to Adjourn meeting at 6:35 PM Roll call - All Ayes – motion carried.
