Special Town Board Meeting — Minutes

SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES OF THE TOWN OF IXONIA May 7, 2026 1. Call to Order & Roll Call: Called to order at 6:30 by acting Sec David K. Supervisors present included David Kester, Rick Ziegler, and Tom Carey. Supervisors Brian Derge and Dan Rupnow were absent. A motion was made by David Kester to nominate Rick Ziegler as acting Chairperson; motion was seconded by Tom Carey. Motion passed 3- 0. Rick Z called the meeting to order at 6:35 2. Pledge of Allegiance: Those present stood to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Public Comment: Members of the public were invited to speak for up to (3) three minutes each. No public comments were presented 4. Presentation by Wendal/Five Bugles Design: Laura with Wendal/Five Bugles Design presented the concept plan related to needs and design ideas for the fire/EMS Department building. High level Board and Public comments / discussions held - related to safety, ISO rating impact, decontamination needs, space needed to separate the various functions conducted by IFD. 5. Adjourn: David Kester made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Tom Carey. Motion carried, 3-0 Jo Ann Lesser, CMC, WCMC Clerk/Treasurer
