Special Town Board Meeting — Minutes

SPECIAL MEETING MINTUES OF THE TOWN OF IXONIA February 26, 2026 1. Call to Order & Roll Call: Chairman Brian Derge called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Supervisors present included Dave Kester, Amy Rinard, Dan Rupnow, and Rick Ziegler. 2. Pledge of Allegiance: Those present stood to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Public Comment – Persons wishing to speak will be allowed three (3) minutes to address the board: None 4. The Board may convene into closed session for discussion and consideration pursuant to the following: Chairman Derge read the following notice: Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility; and (f) Considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where par. (b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations, to discuss the Town Clerk, Utility Operator, and Public Works Superintendent. Kester made a motion to enter into closed session at 7:03 pm. Seconded by Rinard. Roll call indicated a unanimous voice vote to enter into closed session. Town Clerk, Utility Operator, Public Works Superintendent and Attorney were present. All Board members present. Staff and Board discussed employee matters during closed session. Rinard made a motion to reconvene into open session at 10:15 pm. Seconded by Ziegler. Motion carried, 5-0. The Board took no action regarding closed session items. 5. Adjourn: Kester made a motion to adjourn at 10:15 pm. Seconded by Rinard. Motion carried, 5-0.
