Posted:                    .  Date:                        . Park & Recreation Committee Minutes Monday, January 13th, 2025 1. Call Meeting to Order, Roll Call and Pledge to the Flag: Chairman Peter Mark called the meeting to  order at 5pm. Members present included; Heather Harris, Rick Ziegler, and Ryan Lipovsek. 2. Approval of minutes: Harris made a motion to approve the November 11th meeting minutes. Lipovsek  seconded the motion. Motion carried, 4-0. 3. Report from Park & Recreation Staff: Ben gave update regarding the lawn mower being out to Bobcat  for repair and possible replacement of the transmission. Final bill from D&D Well Drilling was received  and taken care of for work done to the well at park. Door for Ski Slide park was ordered, received and  will be replaced in Spring. 4. Discussion and action on Summer help: Andrew to reach out and touch base with staff (Brayden, Dylan  and Jack) regarding return for summer 2025.  5. Discussion and possible action on 2025 Easter egg Hunt: Date Saturday April 12th. Heather to email  Ixonia School to verify if able to rent the school that day with 9am set up, 10 am craft and 11 am egg  hunt. Heather will also email Sarah regarding craft. Check with 4-H Club to see if they would be willing  to fill plastic eggs and Fireman’s Association for donation of candy/craft.  6. Discussion and possible action on 2025 movie night: Josh-Ixonia Bank reached out with dates. Harris  made a motion to approve Tuesday August 19th for 2025 movie night. Ziegler seconded the motion.  Motion carried 4-0. Will need to check with Kim Drost-Ixonia Baptist Church to see if church volunteers  willing to help with concessions.  7. Update, discussion and possible action on filling open Park & Rec Committee positions: Discussion on  ways to advertise. Currently posted on the Town Hall door and website. Can put memo in Utility Bills or  on digital sign out front of Town Hall.  8. Update on 2025 baseball contracts: 2025 Baseball contracts have been reviewed and are ready to be  emailed to teams for review/signing.  9. Discussion and possible action on MOU for Ixonia School use of Fireman’s Park: Email MOU to Ixonia  School for review and signature. Once received back, will need to be reviewed by Town Board for  approval.  10. Discussion and possible action on donations for playground equipment at Ixonia firemen’s park:  Continue collecting donations for new playground equipment and consider further action with  fundraising efforts. 11. Review previous months Financial Reports and end of year 2024 report: Reviewed 12. Next meeting date – February10, 2025 at 5pm 13. Motion to Adjourn: Harris made a motion to adjourn at 6:02pm and seconded by Ziegler. Motion carried  4-0.
