Special Village Board Meeting — Minutes

Reedsville Village Board Special Meeting Minutes Wednesday, August 12, 2026 1. Call to Order The special meeting was called to order by President Siebert at 6:35 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the Reedsville Village Hall. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Roll call Present: Trustees Bubolz, Hansen, Kasbaum, Maertz, Otto, Parsley, and Siebert. Others Present: Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Hillmann 4. Public Input/Visitors: None 5. At 6:35pm, A motion was made by Trustee Hansen and seconded by Trustee Kasbaum to convene into closed session Pursuant to WI Statute Section 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance of any public employees over which the Village of Reedsville has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. This pertains to the Clerk/Treasurer’s Office. Roll call indicated: Ayes-7; Nays-0, Absent-0, motion carried. 6. At 8:15pm, a motion was made by Trustee Hansen and seconded by Trustee Maertz to reconvene into open session pursuant to WI Statute Section 19.85(2) for possible decision. A motion was made by Trustee Bubolz and seconded by Trustee Hansen to suspend the Deputy Clerk-Treasurer for 3 days, consult the Village Attorney, and schedule a special meeting for Monday, August 17, 2026 at 6:30pm for further discussion and possible decision. Roll call indicated: Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-0, motion carried. 7. Adjournment A motion was made by Trustee Hansen and seconded by Trustee Kasbaum to adjourn the meeting at 8:15pm, motion carried.
