Special Village Board Meeting — Minutes

Reedsville Village Board Special Meeting Minutes Monday, January 26, 2026 1. Call to Order The special meeting was called to order on by President Siebert at 6:00pm on Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Reedsville Village Hall. 1. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Roll call Present: Trustees Bubolz, Hansen, Fox, Siebert. Absent: Trustee Kasbaum, Maertz, Parsley Others Present: Clerk/Treasurer Stiefvater 3. Public Input/Visitors: None 4. At 6:01pm a motion was made by Trustee Fox and seconded by Trustee Hansen to go into Closed Session Pursuant to WI Statute Section 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance of any public employees over which the Village of Reedsville has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. This pertains to the Public Works Department. Roll call indicated as follows: Ayes-4; Nay-0. Absent– 3, motion carried. 5. At 7:10pm a motion was made by Trustee Fox and seconded by Trustee Hansen to go into Open Session Pursuant to WI Statute Section 19.85(2) for possible decision. Roll call indicated as follows: Ayes- 4; Nays-0; Absent-3, motion carried. A motion was made by Trustee Fox and seconded by Trustee Hansen to hire Chad Rataichek for a part-time (only as needed) plow driver in the Public Works Department starting January 27, 2026 at $25.00 per hour. Roll call indicated as follows: Ayes-4; Nays-0; Absent-3, motion carried. 6.
