DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION TO REVIEW AMERICAN TOWER CELL TOWER LEASE AMENDMENT American Tower sent a request to reduce the cell tower rent for the cell tower on E Samz Rd. DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION TO REVIEW THE REQUEST TO DECREASE HILLSIDE LANE SPEED LIMIT Discussion was held on whether to reduce the speed limit on Hillside Lane. Chief Granger stated that he didn’t think it was necessary to reduce the speed limit because of a certain person/persons that speed through the street; that it can be resolved in another manner. Other residents from Hillside Lane stated their opinions and agreed they didn’t think it was necessary to reduce the speed limit. Vince Vogel asked if a sign “Watch for Children” could be put up. Discussion was held on the speed limit on Highway 147 at that intersection and that it is more of a problem being 45 mph there when trying to turn onto 147. Because it is a state highway, the village cannot change the speed limit, but it can request the state to look into reducing it. DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION TO REVIEW QUOTES FOR WILLOW DRIVE LOTS CONTAMINATION TESTING Brian Reif was present to discuss his research and conversation with Bay Environmental in regards to the contamination testing for the Willow Drive lot. He gave the update and indicated that since phase 1 is done, the village can sell the one lot without any issues. The other lot will need some testing/further investigation and at a cost of about $10,000. He needs to check with the DNR to see what needs to be done to close that site. He asked the village board for permission to talk to the DNR on the village’s behalf and the board gave him the ok to do that. He will report back next 3804 month with what he finds out. Trustees Brouchoud/Beranek moved to table this item until the next meeting. Motion carried. G. DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION OF PRIVATE SEWER LATERAL INSPECTIONS DPW Director John Tulachka informed the board that he has started doing private sewer lateral inspections when the sewer mains are inspected. They do about 10% of the village per year. This year they found 14 private sewer laterals that were leaking and need to be repaired. He asked the board what was the best way to have these laterals repaired and paid for. It was decided that the repairs would be done by the village and special assessed to the property owner. He is still waiting for the report so this item is tabled until the next meeting. Trustees Ferry/Beranek moved to table this until the September meeting. Motion carried. I.
