Special Town Meeting of the Electors — Minutes

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF ELECTORS – November 11, 2025 The Town Board of the Town of Cooperstown, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, convened an open session on November 11, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall, for the Special Town Meeting of the Electors. The meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm by Chairman Joe Havlovitz. Roll Call: Chairman Havlovitz, Sup. Shibler, Sup. Propson, Clerk Kornely, Treasurer Duescher and Constable Kane. Fifteen residents were in attendance, this included officers. The purpose of the meeting of the electors is pursuant to Sec. 66.0602 of the Wis. Statutes is to approve by resolution to adopt the 2025 town tax levy to be paid in 2026 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(a) of the Wis. Statutes. On a motion by Bernadette Duescher and seconded by Sup. Shibler, moved to adopt the 2025 town tax levy to be paid in 2026 for $394,901. Motion was approved by 14/ 0/1 on a unanimous vote. 2025-06 Resolution of the Town Electors to Adopt the Total Town Levy at Special Town Meeting of the Town Electors – On a motion by Sup Propson and seconded by Sup. Shibler, moved to approve Resolution 2025-06 of the Town Electors to Adopt the Total Town Levy at Special Town Meeting of the Town Electors. Motion passed. Roll Call Vote: Propson - yes, Shibler-yes, Havlovitz-yes. On a motion by Sup. Shibler and seconded by Chairman Havlovitz, moved to adjourn. Motion passed.
