Discussion and possible action on Jacoby’s request for the September 19th, 2026, event they are hosting.
The council discussed that they would like Jacoby to fence off the road closure area on Patton Avenue from
Market Street down to the alleyway that connects behind their building. This area will be designated as the
cornhole tournament area. Also, they requested that Jacoby provide adequate signage and be sure that all
alcohol consumed is in plastic, purchased from their event, and is contained in that area. The council says they
agree to these terms as long as Jacoby stays in contact and complies with department heads on the event.
