Zurfluh, N. Flugaur, L. Radtke (for Hummel) Absent: E. Hummel, B. Mancl Also Present: B. Martinson, D. Tremmel Citizens: None Subjects Discussed, Action Taken & Board Action Required: Regular Monthly Meeting • Call to Order: Meeting called to order by Chair Zurfluh at 4:00 p.m. • Motion (Zurfluh/Flugaur) to approve the consent agenda (September 3, 2026 agenda and August 6, 2026 meeting minutes). Motion carried. All ayes. • Public Comments on Agenda Items: None • Committee Chairperson’s Comments: The next couple meetings will be changed from Thursday to Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. • Motion (Radtke/Flugaur) to approve the monthly bills, journal entries for the previous month and financial reports. Motion carried. All ayes. • Motion (Zufluh/Flugaur) to approve CDBG grant funds for the 2nd Street project. Motion carried. All ayes. The first part of the proposed 2nd Street project will be from Market Avenue to LaVigne Avenue. The Village received a $1,000,000 CDBG grant. Met with Nekoosa Port Edwards State Bank who would work with the Village for reimbursements and a loan for the balance of the project amount. First loan payment would be in 2028. • Old Business: Ben Martinson stated that the Village has escrow funds being held by Wood County IT. The money will be used to replace the wastewater and fire department computers. Also, the first Committee of the Whole meeting for the budget will be held Monday, September 14th.
