Mancl, N. Flugaur, L. Radtke, E. Hummel, Chief Lease and B. Martinson Absent: Chief Abbott - excused Citizens: Subjects Discussed, Action Taken, and Board Action Required: 1. Call to order: Meeting called to order at 4:30 p.m. 2. Declaration of a quorum: 3. Approve the Agenda: MOTION (Hummel/Radtke) to approve the consent agenda (agenda & previous months minutes). Motion carried. All ayes. 4. Committee Chairman’s comments: Email from Chairman Stewart. Police & Fire Commission has moved one new Fire Department application to the Eligibility List. 5. Public comments on agenda items: 6. Fire Department – General Update: a) One more firefighter has been added. Roster is at 28. If roster gets to 30 a wait list would be started. b) Two members will be starting school in August. c) Continuing to apply for grants. d) 151 calls for the year. This is about the same as last year. e) Welcome back to Firefighter Fuhs. 7. Police Department – General Update: a) Report reviewed with Supervisor Martinson. Four people were arrested for trespassing and criminal damage to property on DMI property. b) Met with the school to discuss SRO and crossing guards. Kept same as last year. 8. Old Business: Trustee Radtke asked about the citations that have been issued to DMI (totaling just under $10,000). DMI has not been responsive.
