Zurfluh, N. Flugaur, E. Hummel Absent: B. Mancl Also Present: D. Tremmel Citizens: None Subjects Discussed, Action Taken & Board Action Required: Regular Monthly Meeting • Call to Order: Meeting called to order by Chair Zurfluh at 4:02 p.m. • Motion (Zurfluh/Hummel) to approve the agenda and the April 1, 2026, meeting minutes. Motion carried. All ayes. • Public Comments on Agenda Items: None • Committee Chairman’s Comments: Chair Zurfluh mentioned some changes he will be making to the agenda format. • Motion (Flugaur/Hummel) to approve the monthly bills, journal entries for the previous month and financial reports. Motion carried. All ayes. • Old Business: None Chair Zurfluh stated that if something comes up under “Old Business,” it will go on next month’s meeting agenda. • New Business: None. Chair Zurfluh stated that if something comes up under “New Business,” it will go on next month’s meeting agenda. • Correspondence Received: None Chair Zurfluh stated that correspondence cannot be discussed because it is not on the agenda, but he will be adding “Trustee Comments” as an agenda item. • Trustee Hummel asked if the Administrator position issue that was raised a few months ago by the previous chair was going to be discussed in the near future. It was stated that this matter was an agenda item on the last Public Works Committee meeting. Trustee Hummel questioned why it was not on the Finance, Human Resources & IT Committee agenda instead. VILLAGE OF PORT EDWARDS Port Edwards, Wisconsin Trustee Hummel also asked when the closed session with the attorney was scheduled.
