Radtke, J. Zurfluh, B. Mancl and Public Works Supervisor Ben Martinson Absent: R. Hess (excused) Citizens: Subjects Discussed, Action Taken & Board Action Required: Regular Monthly Meeting 1. Call to order: Meeting called to order at 4:06 pm. 2. Roll Call: See above. 3. Approve the agenda & previous month’s minutes: MOTION (Zurfluh/Radtke) to approve the agenda & minutes from April 1, 2026. Motion carried. All ayes. 4. Public comments on agenda items: None. 5. Committee Chairman’s comments: 6. Department of Public Works: a) Public Works Supervisor B. Martinson went over the DPW report. 7. Summer schedule: Tree planting, chip seal & TIF project for 2nd Street. Estimate of budgetary items. Increase in oil & fuel costs need to be considered. 8. Closed session, per §19.851)(c), “Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility,” to discuss employee job title and compensation: MOTION (Radtke/Mancl) to enter closed session. Motion carried. All aye. 9. Action on any items coming out of the closed session.: No action taken. 10. Old Business: Trustee Zurfluh started a discussion about “old business, new business and correspondence received”. 11. New Business: B. Martinson brought up patching Range Line Road. 12. Correspondence received. 13. Committee member comments: Kudos to the Public Works crew for their work during the last storm. 14. Future Agenda items for next meeting: Closed session 15.
