Flugaur, R. Hess, J. Zurfluh, Captain Mancl, Chief Abbott and B. Martinson Absent: Subjects Discussed, Action Taken, and Board Action Required: 1. Call to order: Meeting called to order at 4:30 p.m. 2. Declaration of a quorum: 3. Approve the Agenda: MOTION (Hess/Zurfluh) to approve the consent agenda (agenda & previous months minutes). Motion carried. All ayes. 4. Committee Chairman’s comments: Notice from Police & Fire Commission of one First Responder & one Firefighter on the eligibility list for Chief Lease. 5. Public comments on agenda items: 6. Fire Department – General Update: a) Captain Mancl went over Chief Lease’s monthly report. Five applicants in total, most of which the Police & Fire Commission has seen. Call volume 20 calls ahead of last year. Rescue squad has been ordered and should be in service in about a month. 7. Police Department – General Update: a) Reviewed Police Department report. Training coming up for new WRAPS and Project Lifesaver. SRO Mertes & Officer Czech are working with the school district. Recognized Officer Mertes for his work on a mail theft incident. 8. Discussion on no parking ordinance around the high school on 2nd & 3rd Streets: Issue during pick up and drop off times.
