Hummel, R. O’Connor, N. Flugaur B. Mancl, and Public Works Supervisor B. Martinson Citizens: Subjects Discussed, Action Taken & Board Action Required: 1) Call to order: Meeting called to order at 4:00 p.m. 2) Declaration of a quorum. Present as noted above. 3) MOTION (Flugaur/O’Connor) to approve the consent agenda and minutes of the January 28, 2026 meeting. Motion carried. All ayes. 4) Public comments on agenda items: No public comments. 5) Committee Chairperson’s comments: Trustee Hummel stated that there are updates on two areas and we can get to this. 6) Committee Comments: 7) Director of Public Works Report: a) Parks update – Ripple Creek – Dead trees removed and brush burned behind the Dog Park. Starting work on the playground sand area. Will reuse sand at other parks where needed. Playground equipment has been paid for and delivered. Legacy grant for bike path repaving Ver Bunker Avenue & Letendre Avenue $80,000.00- $100,000.00 has been applied for. Cemetery – Trees have been removed. 150 Ash trees have been removed in the last few years due to disease. b) Community Calendar Events for 2026 Village Garage Sale – May 16th (3 Goodwill trucks). Ben is working with Fidel @ El Café for a downtown event August 28th to include other area businesses. 8) Old Business: Hometown Hero banners – we have five so far, looking for 8-10. 9) New Business: 10) Correspondence received.
