Radtke, N. Flugaur, E. Hummel, B. Mancl Absent: None Also Present: B. Martinson, D. Tremmel Citizens: Ben Goodreau – WR Fire Chief, Matt Zacher – WR Mayor Subjects Discussed, Action Taken & Board Action Required: Regular Monthly Meeting • Call to Order: Meeting called to order by Chair Radtke at 4:00 p.m. • Motion (Hummel/Flugaur) to approve the agenda and the January 8, 2026 meeting minutes. Motion carried. All ayes. • Public Comments on Agenda Items: None • Committee Chairman’s Comments: None • Motion (Radtke/Hummel) to approve the monthly bills, journal entries for the previous month and financial reports. Motion carried. All ayes. • Motion (Radtke/Hummel) to accept the Emergency Service Agreement with the City of Wisconsin Rapids. Motion carried. All ayes. • An update was provided on the replacement vehicle for the First Responders. The money will come from grants, donations and budgeted money from fire department capital outlay. • It was decided that the Public Works Director title and position will be discussed in a future closed session. • Old Business: None • New Business: Ben Martinson stated that currently 94% of the 2025 budget has been spent. This will be updated in March after February bills have been paid and after the auditors’ visit. • Correspondence Received: Nick Flugaur received an email regarding a Resolution from 2018 setting the minimum unassigned general fund balance. Ben Martinson stated that he will speak with the auditors about possibly changing the percentage with a new resolution.
