Hummel, R. O’Connor, N. Flugaur B. Mancl, and Public Works Supervisor B. Martinson Citizens: Subjects Discussed, Action Taken & Board Action Required: 1) Call to order: Meeting called to order at 4:00 p.m. 2) Declaration of a quorum. Present as noted above. 3) MOTION (Flugaur/O’Connor) to approve the consent agenda and minutes of the October 28, 2025 meeting. Motion carried. All ayes. 4) Public comments on agenda items: No public comments. 5) Committee Chairperson’s comments: Trustee Hummel stated that it is a good time to start forward thinking. 6) Committee Comments: 7) Director of Public Works Report: a) Parks update – Ripple Creek – No skating pond due to warm weather early on. New playground – sand out, pour in play early spring. Playground equipment getting shipped next week with installation projected to happen mid-May. Dog Park – in use all winter with no issues. b) Legacy grant for bike path repaving Ver Bunker Avenue & Letendre Avenue $80,000.00- $100,000.00. c) Cemetery Storm damage over the summer. Tree removal. No big projects coming up. d) Community Calendar Events for 2026 Village Garage Sale – May 16th (map, Goodwill truck and port-a-potty donations). 8) Old Business: Community Picnic/event downtown. 9) New Business: Hometown Hero banners – We had 10 last year with another 4 or 5 to be added this year at the same cost. The deadline for new applications is March 13th. They will be hung up from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Donation/Sponsor banners are available. 10) Correspondence received. None. 11) Agenda items for next meeting.
