Complaints of discrimination should be sent to: USDA, Director, Office of Civil Rights, Washington, D.C. 20250-9410 RESOLUTION #653 2026 Budget Amendment no. 2 WHEREAS, on November 24, 2025, the Common Council appropriated funds for the operation of the government and administration of the City of Bayfield for the year 2026; and WHEREAS, the Common Council amended said budget by resolution on June 16, 2026; and WHEREAS, at the time the budget was prepared, the Lower Big Ravine Assessment and Redesign capital improvement plan was not accounted for; and WHEREAS, the Police Department has incurred an unanticipated need for the replacement of a laptop in the near term, and the Common Council wishes to fund the purchase within the current budget year to secure a lower price; and WHEREAS, the Common Council is authorized to amend the budget by resolution and has determined that it is in the best interest of the City to do so; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the general fund and capital improvements fund budgets shall be amended as follows: Increase General Fund—Law Enforcement Expenses by: Account Description Amount E 100-52100-810 Capital Expenditures (Add to new Police Laptop Replacement CIP) $5,780.00 Decrease General Fund—Zoning Expenses by: Account Description Amount E 100-56400-210 Professional Services $5,780.00 Increase Capital Improvements Fund Revenues by: Account Description Amount R 410-43535 Coastal Management $17,000.00 R 410-49300 Fund Balances Applied $12,000.00 Increase Capital Improvements Fund Expenses by: Account Description Amount E 410-59240-910 Capital Expenditures (Add $34,000 to new Lower Big Ravine Assessment and Redesign CIP) (Deduct $6,294 from $50,000 City Hall Planning CIP) $29,000.00
