Meeting Agenda 1. Driveway Permitting: Rex Liebl The initial thought was that this would require an easement agreement; City Attorney Max Lindsey said this would instead be handled through the issuance of a street privilege permit under state statutes as City of Bayfield Common Council • March 17, 2026, Meeting Minutes Page 2 of 3 opposed to under the City Code. The portion of the driveway through the public right of way (ROW) would be open for public use. Motion by Bland, seconded by Carrier, to approve the issuance of a street privilege permit for an extension of sewer main up North 6th Street north of Rice Ave and construction of driveway within the ROW of North 6th Street from the intersection of Rice Ave to lot 4, Block 47, of the Original plat of Bayfield. This driveway shall comply with the construction requirements for private driveways under Chapter 206 of the City’s Ordinances. This Street Privilege approval for construction of the driveway shall be in effect until the City opens and develops North 6th Street between Rice Avenue and Sweeny Ave, or until the notice required for removal of such driveway is provided by the City in compliance with Wis.
