Minutes of the Bayfield Carnegie Library Board of Trustees Meeting on Wednesday May 20, 2026 Regular Monthly Meeting Attendance: Teresa Weber, Mary Lynch-President, Linda Georgeson, Bill Bland, Vicki Redenbaugh. 1. Meeting began at 4:30 with quorum 2. Public Comment--None. 3. Approval of Minutes of Previous Meeting: Motion-Vicki, 2nd-Bill, Approved. 4. Financial Reports of General Fund, Library Checking, Bills--Teresa reports Library is able to meet cost of project. Motion to Approve Payment of Bills--Linda, 2nd-Vicki, Approved. South Shore and Mary Rice Foundation monies received. Thank you notes to be issued. 5. Library Director's Report--new small meeting room now available, Thrift Sale preparation discussed, warranty on new lift is standard, repair cafe successful and another planned, sound system discussed. 6. Continuing Business--All tabled due to absence of Annunziata and new member Jon Carpenter. 7. New Business--Grant rec'd through Boreal Waters, really South Shore to be thanked; 100 Who Care has chosen Library as one of finalists with Teresa presenting on behalf of the Library next week. 8. Future Agenda Items--Discussion of Welcome to New Board Member, Landscaping, Technology Needs Adjourned at 5p.m. Next Meeting: 4 p.m. June 17
