City of Bayfield Architectural Review Board 1-27-2025 Meeting Minutes Call to Order: Chairperson Cornelius called meeting to order @ 5:00 pm on 1/27/2025. Roll Call: Bogaard Carrier Cornelius Phillips Shrider Spence Whittet. Others present: Mayor Dougherty, City Clerk Samaya Ray, John Salden, Lewis Gerten, Ross Hadley and Tom Coenz Approve Agenda: Motion to approve by Spence/Carrier. Approved all ayes. Approve Minutes: Motion to approve by Spence/Carrier. Approved all ayes. Public input on agenda items: None Agenda: Item # 1 Building Permit # 39-24: Bayfield Schoolhouse/Don Watts, 231 N. 1st. St. Siding and Reframing Motion to approve by Spence/Shrider Motion carried All Ayes. Item # 2 Building Permit #01-25: John Salden/Swim Rite, 127 N. 5th St. 7x7 Barrel Sauna in backyard. Motion to approve by Carrier/Shrider. Motion carried All Ayes W/Spence lodging reservations. Is in Historical District. Additional: Items: Discussion Ensued regarding: Raising fines, for failure to acquire permit, properties in disrepair and raising permit fees.
