City of Bayfield Architectural Review Board February 24, 2025 Meeting Minutes Call to Order: Chairperson Cornelius called meeting to order @ 5:00 pm on 2/24/25. Roll Call: Bogaard Carrier Cornelius Phillips Shrider Spence Whittet. Others present: Mayor Dougherty, City Deputy Samaya Ray, and Christian Bell. Approve Agenda: Motion to approve by Carrier/Spence. Approved all ayes. Approve Minutes: Motion to approve by Bogaard/Shrider. Approved all ayes. Public input on agenda items: None. Agenda: Item # 1 Building Permit # 02-25 Harbor Master Hayes/ Marina, 112 S. 1st St. 10’ x 20’ storage shed. Motion to Reject as incomplete by Spence/Carrier. Motion carried 4-2 Item # 2 Building Permit # 03-25 Christian Bell/Lyman Lumber 5 S. 6th St. Presentation of plans for current and future renovations. Motion to Table Shrider/ Spence. Motion carried all ayes. Additional: Discussion: Fees and penalties, revised guidelines, properties in disrepair and ways The ARB can contribute to increasing revenue to the City were discussed.
