City of Bayfield Architectural Review Board March 24, 2025 Meeting Minutes Call to Order: Chairperson Cornelius called meeting to order @ 5:00 pm on 3/24/25. Roll Call: Bogaard Carrier Cornelius Shrider Whittet. Others present: Mayor Dougherty, City Deputy Samaya Ray, Tom Koehnen, Erica Kochnen and Christian Bell via go to meeting. Mayor informs board of Zoning Administrator hire. Approve Agenda: Motion to approve by Carrier/Bogard. Approved all ayes. Approve Minutes: Motion to approve by Carrier/Shrider. Approved all ayes. Public input on agenda items: None. Agenda: Item # 1 Updated Building Permit # 03-25 Christian Bell/Lyman Lumber, 5 S. 5th St. Addition to main floor and covered porch with expansion to back of house to include a rear entry way transitioning into added kitchen space. Motion to approve as submitted by Carrier/Shrider. Motion carried all ayes Item # 2 Building Permit # 07-25 Christian Bell/Lyman Lumber 5 S. 6th St. Add double glass French doors to garage; sliding barn doors on either side as decoration; replace railing; add steps to existing deck; etc Motion to approve as submitted by Carrier/Shrider. Motion carried all ayes. Additional: Item #3 Raising fines for 2025 Fines for permit infractions Increase permit fees Disrepair Possable ARB contributions to increase City revenues Update on status of Planning Commision review of Option C, which includes updated list of proposed contributing properties Discussion Tabled. Zoning Administrator Report: Motion to approve by Carrier/Bogard.
