City of Bayfield Architectural Review Board July 28, 2025 Meeting Minutes Call to Order: Chair Carrier called meeting to order at 5:00 pm on 7/28/2025. Roll Call: Bogaard Carrier Cornelius Phillips Shrider Spence and Whittet. Others present: Doug Ament, G. Haskins, Nick Hays and Gabrial Hays Approve Agenda: Motion to approve by Spence/Bogaard. Approved all ayes. Approve Minutes: Motion to approve both, 6/23/2025 regular meeting and 7/14/2025 work session by Phillips/Bogaard. Approved all ayes. Public input on agenda items: None. Agenda: Motion to move Item # 1 to # 4 by Spence/Phillips. Approved all ayes. Item # 2 Building Permit #-28-2024: Kathy Fisher, 22 N 1st St. Alterations to store front with windows and doors. Motion by Spence/Bogaard to approve as presented contingent upon receiving Architectural Elevation. Approved all ayes. Item # 3 Building Permit #-19: Jordon Wulf, 17 N 7th St. Build front and back entry porches and front deck with railings. Motion by Spence/Bogaard to approve contingent upon Zoning review. Approved all ayes. Item # 4 Building Permit #-28: City of Bayfield, 112 S. 1st St. Add storage shed at City Marina. Motion to Approve by Shrider/Bogaard. Discussion. Motion to Amend application from T-111 vertical siding to a 4” horizontal lap siding by Shrider/ Bogaard. Approved all ayes. Item # 1 Building Permit #-09 Doug Ament, 20 N. Broad St. Stop Work Order. Request change from original Permit Motion to Approve as presented with all cattle panel railings and no larger footprint. Approved all ayes. Item # 5 Maintenance Permit: Update and Discussion. Item # 6 Historic Preservation Ordinance: Continued discussion. Zoning Administrator Report: List of issued permits.
